“Hey guys. So tomorrow is my anniversary,” she began the video, before immediately beginning to tear up. “Ooh, I did not feel that coming.”
The bestselling author shared that she had planned a party and invited all her friends from work, adding that she’d never planned a party that wasn’t for her family. All of the guests in attendance were going to bring a dish, and Jen shared that she and her teenage son had cleaned off the back deck.
“I haven’t seen my friends in so long and it’s a new chapter,” she continued. “This wave of emotion I was not expecting because I haven’t cried in a long time. I think they are sad and happy tears. Sad, because I can’t believe this is my life and happy because I get to make a new life.”

“Tomorrow’s going to be a good day,” she concluded the video.
Last week, the influencer, who boasts over seven million followers on social media for her content depicting her work as a nurse, opened up on TikTok about her reasoning for her split from Brian, which the couple announced in a joint post on June 15.
At the time, the two wrote: “This comes with enormous pain for both of us but also gratitude for the 15 years of shared history, love and friendship,” their statement at the time read. “What we are committed to is loving each other well through this transition and placing the wellbeing of the family we created at the center.”
“…We both want to be very clear. This wasn’t about falling out of love,” the message continued. “That’s why this is so devastating. It was about recognizing that sometimes the most loving thing you can do is give someone space to figure out complex things. And that’s exactly what we are doing.”
In a video shared on July 26, Jen accused Brian of leading a “double life,” alleging that he had been romantically involved with another woman.
Jen shares two sons, Ellis and Luke, with Brian. The couple tied the knot in August 2012, with Jen marking their 13th wedding anniversary in a post on Instagram on Aug. 5, 2025.
