Pregnant Anne Hathaway Wears Bump-Hugging Dress with Coordinating Accessories for N.Y.C. Outing

Anne Hathaway has taken the fashion world by storm since announcing she and husband Adam Shulman are expecting their third baby in June.
The actress, 43, has been booked and busy attending events across the world, with back-to-back movie premieres for The Odyssey in July and The End of Oak Street in August.
With her next film, Verity, coming soon to theaters on Oct. 2, Hathaway was spotted out in New York attending a press junket on Thursday, Sept. 17.

As with her prior outings, the movie star dressed to impress, this time in a knitted halter dress. The black halter-top design hugged her growing baby bump and was worn with heeled sandals.
Hathaway accessorized with multiple rings and a black handbag.
Her flowy brown hair fell to her chest, while oversized sunglasses peeked out from her face, which was dolled up with light blush and lipstick.
Verity is based on Colleen Hoover’s 2018 novel of the same name and stars Hathaway, Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett.

The film tells the story of struggling writer Lowen (Johnson), who is on the verge of financial ruin when she gets the opportunity to complete a series by bestselling thriller author Verity Crawford (Hathaway). Lowen discovers an unfinished manuscript, but it soon leads her to unravel secrets that could change everything.
With the movie’s premiere date approaching, Hathaway has been keeping up appearances, having recently been seen at Bulgari’s Serpenti Infinito event as part of New York Fashion Week on Chelsea’s High Line in New York City.

The Bulgari ambassador looked elegant in a strapless lilac chiffon gown by Alexander McQueen and gold metallic heeled sandals.
Hathaway was recently honored at the 2026 Disney Legends Awards ceremony during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, Calif. She wore a regal purple gown featuring Grecian-inspired draping and a cape by Aflalo while accepting her honor.

Before the event, PEOPLE chatted with the Oscar winner on the red carpet about her sons, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6, and their reaction to her latest honor.
“That kind of stuff doesn’t really make it past the front door,” said the actress with a laugh. “It’s all fun and everything, but basically, as soon as I pass the threshold, somebody’s throwing a football at me or asking me to clean out their backpack or asking me to make them a snack.”

“So the legend status doesn’t really carry any weight with my kids,” she continued. “But they are very excited to meet Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.”
Verity is in theaters Oct. 2. She also stars in Ron Howard’s upcoming Alone at Down, out on Dec. 25, 2027, and the Days of Thunder sequel with Tom Cruise, which will hit theaters in 2028.
