Margaret Qualley is ditching the shoes!
The 31-year-old actress wore a pair of Chanel shoes with no sole to the world premiere of her upcoming movie The Dog Stars in London on Thursday, Aug. 20.
The controversial footwear features only a block heel and two ankle straps.

Qualley paired the barely-there black shoes with a black dress that was covered in bohemian fringe. The dress had a deep V-neckline and cap sleeves.
Her fingernails and toenails were painted black, and she kept her jewelry light with only a statement ring.
The star wore her hair down in loose waves and rocked defined brows, bold eyeliner and a terra cotta lip.
The soleless shoes debuted on April 28 as part of Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel Cruise collection.
Qualley has been a longtime ambassador of Chanel, and walked in fashion shows for the luxury fashion house in 2021 and 2024.
The actress also wore head-to-toe Chanel at her 2023 wedding to Jack Antonoff, from whom she separated in July.

Qualley’s latest movie is an adaptation of Peter Heller’s hit 2012 novel of the same name.
The drama tells the story of “Hig, a young pilot who, together with a military survivalist, Bangley, has carved out an efficient but isolated homestead in a brutal post-apocalyptic world until a mysterious radio transmission spurs Hig to venture into the unknown in search of the hope and humanity he still believes exists,” per a synopsis.
The movie was directed by Ridley Scott and written by Mark L. Smith.
Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin, Guy Pearce, Benedict Wong and Allison Janney also star in the film.
The Dog Stars premieres in theaters on Aug. 28.
