Megan Thee Stallion Reveals She’s Fed and Named the Orange Cat That Lives Outside of Her Recording Studio

The Houston rapper, who’s working on her highly-anticipated ACT III album, named the cat Miso

Megan Thee Stallion recently teased the new colorway for her upcoming album, ACT III, and it seems the new era is also attracting new animals into her life.

In a TikTok shared on Sunday, Aug. 16, the “Hiss” rapper, 31, showed an orange cat lying on top of an SUV parked outside her Los Angeles recording studio.

In the video, the cat jumps off the car and walks into the studio. Once inside, the feline jumps on tables, is fed by multiple people, and gets lots of pets. The short clip, which has received over 1.4 million views and nearly half a million likes, appears to show several moments of the kitty making herself at home in the studio.

In the caption, Megan explained that the cat came outside every time she showed up to record her new album, currently codenamed ACT III, following its 2024 predecessors, Megan and Megan: Act II.

“This orange cat keeps coming to see me every time I’m recording for my album,” she wrote. “I’m talking waiting on me to pull up to the studio lol I named her MISO 🧡 my girl a street cat and I can’t tell if she wants to come home with me but she’s been down for thee whole ACT III process!”

Megan even recognized the irony of ACT III’s theme color being orange just like Miso, writing, “What are thee odds she’s orangeee😻 I think it means good luck idk hotties lol.”

The “Savage” rapper is a well-known animal lover and has introduced fans to numerous animals, including French Bulldogs 4oe, Dos, Big Tracy, and Oneita; a Pit bull named 5ive; a Cane Corso named 10; a Merle dog named Six; and a recent rescue from a kill shelter named Tyger. Outside of canines, she also has a cat named Nine, a lizard named Billiam, and a turtle.

Megan teased the orange colorway of her upcoming album in early August when she changed her social media profile photos to a terracotta shade, replacing the black that she updated after her breakup with professional basketball player Klay Thompson, 36. Then on Aug. 10, she posted a series of images in which she wore shorts and thigh-high boots covered in white fur, letting followers know, “I’M BACK.”

In a recent interview with Michelle Obama on her podcast, In My Opinion, Megan confirmed that the new album will be a “reintroduction” to one of her alter egos, Tina Snow.

“I think I’m just reintroducing my alter ego, Tina Snow. Tina is grown now, babe. She has been through lots of life since y’all heard from her last,” she explained, adding that the collaborations on the highly anticipated project will shock fans. “I feel like Act 3 is gonna be one of my favorite projects I ever put out because I definitely took my time with this one.”
