“Minted made the process so easy,” Kelsey and Joey, who chose the Sienna design by Minted artist Pati Cascino, continue. “We found a template that felt like us and were able to personalize it with details like our favorite color — green — and one of our favorite photos together.”

As they get closer to their big day, the couple says they’ve tapped a wedding planner to help support them through some of the bigger decisions.

“We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have a wedding planner who has made the entire process feel so much more manageable,” they share. “The biggest challenge so far has been deciding on a location since we have moved, and our family and friends are spread out all over the country.”

“The easiest decision was probably our color palette,” they explain. “We’re both pretty easygoing, and most decisions have come together naturally. Overall, we’ve been lucky to have a planning process that’s been much less stressful than we expected.”

Kelsey and Joey recently got re-engaged after former Division II tennis player got down on one knee during the finale of The Bachelor. Kelsey shares that after Joey proposed again, he planned a surprise engagement party — which came with a surprise wedding dress appointment.

“Joey actually organized it all after surprising me with a second proposal. After the re-engagement, he told me he had also planned an engagement party for us two weeks later, with all of our friends coming into town to celebrate,” says Kelsey.

“As if that wasn’t thoughtful enough, he also coordinated with one of my friends to set up a dress appointment at LOHO Bride so my sister and closest friends could be there for the experience,” she shares.

“Being able to share that moment with some of my favorite people meant so much to me, and I’d say it’s up there on the list for one of the most thoughtful things Joey has done for me. It made an already unforgettable time in our lives even more special.”

Although they still have some time before walking down the aisle, Kelsey and Joey share that the wedding planning process has made that upcoming day feel even more real.

“One of our favorite parts of wedding planning was touring venues together,” they say. “Walking through each space and picturing ourselves surrounded by our family and friends on such an important day was very special.”

“It was one of those moments where the excitement of getting married really started to sink in, and it’s some memories we’ll both cherish.”
