“Do you want to share?” Palvin asks Sprouse during the podcast.

“Yeah, we’ve been calling her principessa,” Sprouse says, revealing that the two are having a girl. “Which I don’t know why that’s been our like…well, it’s Italian for princess.”

“But no, we are having a baby girl, which I’m very excited about,” he continues. “I’m excited to be a girl dad, actually.”

Palvin goes on to say that having a baby girl is going to “mellow” Sprouse out.

“You’re going to be so stressed about the princess,” says Palvin. “I just also unironically love a tea party,” says Sprouse.

“He loves a high tea,” jokes Palvin.

The two say they’re still going “back and forth” on names and don’t know what they’re going to call “principessa.”

Back in May, Sprouse and Palvin first announced that they are expecting their first baby together while attending the 79th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

The couple posed together in a few photos while attending the festival. Palvin wore a light blue dress which featured cap sleeves and a feather skirt. She posed with her hand under her belly, accentuating her baby bump.

Sprouse could be seen next to his wife, wearing a tuxedo and placing one arm around Palvin.

The couple met at a party in 2017, and the former Disney Channel star and Victoria’s Secret Angel began dating in June 2018. Shortly after, Palvin told Vogue Australia in November 2018 that she was “very much in love right now.”

“I feel like I found the perfect guy,” she said of Sprouse. “He’s very kind and gentle.”

They confirmed their engagement in June 2023 and wed one month later in a ceremony in Hungary.

This past August, Palvin shared that she had surgery for endometriosis in an Instagram post. She said that she was “advised to seek out an endometriosis specialist.”

“I’ve been going to checkups [with] my gynecologist every year. I thought if I had endometriosis, I would have known about it by now, but as it turns out, endometriosis can’t be diagnosed with general examinations,” she wrote.

She added, “[The surgery] helped me a lot, and I’m grateful I did it. Early diagnosis and treatment are very important to prevent long-term complications, and now I’m more mindful about my body to act fast if needed.”

“I’m excited about this new chapter of my life and now ready to get back to work 🙆🏼‍♀️,” she concluded.
