They will be sickened and embarrassed to have a parent be so callous and vindictive. It\u2019s quite troubling,\u201d the <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RapidResponse47\/status\/2089422283039203736?s=20\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">account on X<\/a> added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what you need to know about Natalie Harp.<\/p>\n<h3>She comes from an evangelical Christian background and is estranged from her brother<\/h3>\n<p>Harp was raised in California in a devout Christian family, according to multiple reports and public comments from her estranged brother, Preston Harp.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Their father, Robert Harp, was a commercial real estate businessman and a marketing executive with advanced degrees from Christian theological institutions, according to <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.boonefuneralhome.net\/obituary\/DrRobert-HarpJr\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">his obituary<\/a>. He later worked at a private evangelical Christian university in California.<\/p>\n<p>Robert died by suicide in July 2020, Preston told the <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.com\/news\/article-15910971\/natalie-harp-trump-aide-brother-family-feud.html\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><em>Daily Mail<\/em><\/a> in June. He says the death is one reason he is estranged from Natalie.<\/p>\n<p>Their mother, Jill Harp, homeschooled the pair as children, Preston told the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>Natalie attended Point Loma Nazarene University, a Christian college in San Diego, according to the <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/religionnews.com\/2020\/08\/27\/point-loma-nazarene-university-alumni-reject-natalie-harps-republican-national-convention-speech\/\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Religion News Service<\/a>. She then earned an MBA from Liberty University in 2015, according to <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liberty.edu\/news\/2019\/06\/29\/alumna-battling-cancer-speaks-publicly-about-her-gratitude-for-right-to-try-act\/\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"2\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the prominent evangelical institution<\/a> in Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>Her brother told the <em>Mail <\/em>that he views his sister\u2019s relationship with Trump as \u201cvery unhealthy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The White House declined to comment on her brother\u2019s comments at the time, but then-White House press secretary <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/karoline-leavitt-11712092\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\">Karoline Leavitt<\/a> called Natalie one of the \u201cmost loyal and hardest-working aides on President Trump\u2019s team.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>She credits Trump with saving her from bone cancer<\/h3>\n<p>In 2019, Natalie first came to the president\u2019s attention when she credited legislation he championed during his first term for giving her access to experimental medication for bone cancer she described as \u201crare and terminal\u201d in <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hKgueeWQKOE&amp;t=13s\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a 2020 speech<\/a> at the Republican National Convention.<\/p>\n<p>After an appearance on Fox News heralding the \u201cRight to Try\u201d law and thanking Trump for saving her life, Trump called into <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/rollcall.com\/factbase\/trump\/transcript\/donald-trump-interview-fox-and-friends-june-14-2019\/#18\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Fox &amp; Friends<\/em><\/a> and said he watched the interview, calling her \u201cthat young, beautiful woman.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think she\u2019s one of the best guests you\u2019ve ever had,\u201d Trump said on June 14, 2019. \u201cI think she was just one of your great guests. Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov\/briefings-statements\/president-donald-j-trump-sign-right-try-legislation-fulfilling-promise-made-expand-healthcare-options-terminal-americans\/\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\">signed the \u201cRight to Try\u201d bill<\/a> into law two months later.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the speech at the 2020 convention, Harp was given an advisory role on Trump\u2019s campaign, according to the <em>Post<\/em> and other outlets.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She then joined the pro-Trump news network One America News and promoted the president\u2019s lies and conspiracies about the 2020 election being stolen from him, according to <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thebulwark.com\/p\/meet-trumps-human-printer-natalie-harp\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">The Bulwark<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/11\/25\/us\/politics\/trump-natalie-harp.html\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"2\"><em>The New York Times<\/em><\/a><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>She left the network in April 2022, <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/newsletters\/playbook\/2022\/04\/13\/dems-split-over-biden-gas-price-moves-00024917\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Politico<\/a> reported at the time. President Trump spent the day at his golf course. \" \/><figcaption><i>President Donald Trump walks by the White House with aide Natalie Harp after spending the day at his Virginia golf course on May 16.<br \/>Credit: Tasos Katopodis\/Getty<\/i><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The book describes Natalie accompanying the once and future president on the golf course, supplying him \u201cwith a fresh stream of positive news stories and social media comments that she would often read aloud and later follow up with copies from the portable printer she carried around.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During a Sunday, Aug. 16, appearance on <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/shorts\/nuDmBAtYSew\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MS NOW<\/a>, Haberman described Natalie as <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/white-house-correspondent-says-natalie-harp-is-like-trump-binky-12061871\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"2\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a \u201cbinky\u201d and a \u201ccomfort blanket\u201d<\/a> for the president.<\/p>\n<p>In response to Haberman\u2019s comments on Sunday, White House spokesman Davis Ingle told PEOPLE that the longtime <em>Times<\/em> reporter \u201cconstantly speaks like she\u2019s a Trump psychologist when in reality she just has a creepy obsession with the President and clings onto him for relevance. It\u2019s been very sad to watch for years.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Melania reportedly found her in Mar-a-Lago\u2019s private quarters<\/h3>\n<p>In his 2025 book, Axios reporter Alex Isenstadt <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.com\/news\/us-politics\/article-14418503\/trump-aide-natalie-harp-human-printer-nickname-fatal-attraction.html\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">wrote<\/a> that Natalie \u201csurprised\u201d first lady <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/tag\/melania-trump\/\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"2\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Melania Trump<\/a> when she \u201cstumbled upon Harp late at night in Trump\u2019s private quarters at Mar-a-Lago, an area that was typically off-limits to those outside Trump\u2019s family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Isenstadt reported that the aide \u201cdidn\u2019t do well with boundaries\u201d and was in the private quarters of the president\u2019s Florida estate to deliver documents that she \u201cdidn\u2019t want to wait until the morning to give\u201d him.<\/p>\n<p>PEOPLE has reached out to the first lady\u2019s office for comment.<\/p>\n<h3>She became Trump\u2019s \u2018human printer\u2019 and gained control of his Truth Social account<\/h3>\n<p>Natalie earned the nickname the \u201chuman printer\u201d during the years leading up to the 2024 campaign as she became a key cog of the president\u2019s daily life in Florida, according to the <em>Times<\/em> and other outlets.<\/p>\n<p>She was a frequent presence at his side on the golf course and on his way to campaign stops, armed with a portable printer and a battery pack to keep it charged, the <em>Times <\/em>reported.
