The Carters are back together for a new track.<\/p>\n

Last month, Beyonc\u00e9<\/a> surprise dropped the previously unreleased, fan-favorite song \u201cMorning Dew (Donk)\u201d<\/a> to commemorate the upcoming 20th anniversary of her B\u2019Day<\/em> album. On Wednesday, Aug. 6, Queen Bey released a new remix of the track featuring her husband, Jay-Z<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The original song features Beyonc\u00e9 singing lyrics about romance and sex, which Jay-Z amplifies in his verse on the remix. \u201cWe know what that night did \/ Let\u2019s see what that morning do,\u201d raps the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, who adds later in the song, \u201cWe just makin\u2019 love, we just gettin\u2019 rich \/ Y\u2019all keep doin\u2019 that, we keep doin\u2019 this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

\u201cMorning Dew (Donk) Remix\u201d also incorporates samples of Sheck Wes<\/a>\u2019 chart-topping 2017 hit \u201cMo Bamba\u201d as well as the Isley Brothers<\/a>\u2019 \u201cBetween the Sheets,\u201d which was famously sampled in the past on the Notorious B.I.G.<\/a>\u2019s 1994 classic \u201cBig Poppa.\u201d<\/p>\n

The original version of \u201cMorning Dew (Donk)\u201d was written by Beyonc\u00e9 with Pharrell Williams<\/a>, The-Dream<\/a> and Darius Dixon, while the track was produced by the Destiny\u2019s Child<\/a> alum and Williams, 53.<\/p>\n

The song\u2019s release on July 4 marked the beginning of a 60-day countdown to Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s next birthday as well as a forthcoming reissue of B\u2019Day<\/em>. The jam serves as \u201ca direct nod to her loyal BeyHive to commemorate the upcoming epic celebration of B\u2019DAY<\/em>,\u201d according to a press release.<\/p>\n

B\u2019Day <\/em>was originally released on Sept. 4, 2006. The album features hit singles including \u201cD\u00e9j\u00e0 Vu\u201d with Jay-Z, \u201cRing the Alarm,\u201d \u201cIrreplaceable\u201d and \u201cGet Me Bodied.\u201d<\/p>\n

The spouses\u2019 \u201cMorning Dew (Donk) Remix\u201d arrives after Beyonc\u00e9 joined Jay-Z as a surprise guest at the first of his three concerts at Yankee Stadium in New York City, where she performed Mary J. Blige<\/a>\u2019s part on \u201cCan\u2019t Knock the Hustle\u201d as well as a snippet of \u201cLove on Top.\u201d<\/p>\n
