So tomorrow is my anniversary,\u201d she began the video, before immediately beginning to tear up. \u201cOoh, I did not feel that coming.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The bestselling author shared that she had planned a party and invited all her friends from work, adding that she\u2019d never planned a party that wasn\u2019t for her family. All of the guests in attendance were going to bring a dish, and Jen shared that she and her teenage son had cleaned off the back deck.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI haven\u2019t seen my friends in so long and it\u2019s a new chapter,\u201d she continued. \u201cThis wave of emotion I was not expecting because I haven\u2019t cried in a long time. I think they are sad and happy tears. Sad, because I can\u2019t believe this is my life and happy because I get to make a new life.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/people.com\/thmb\/mf6kxGHKHrkP8o9Zh0YrgK2Knnc=\/fit-in\/640x480\/jen-hamilton-5426-26c2450fb74c41d58ee294bb2fc57c86.jpg\" alt=\"Jen Hamilton.Credit: Jen Hamilton\/Instagram\" title=\"Jen Hamilton, Instagram\" \/><figcaption><i>Jen Hamilton.<br \/>Credit: Jen Hamilton\/Instagram<\/i><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cTomorrow\u2019s going to be a good day,\u201d she concluded the video.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, the influencer, who boasts over seven million followers on social media for her content depicting her work as a nurse, opened up on TikTok about her reasoning for her split from Brian, which the couple <a class=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/influencer-jen-hamilton-confirms-split-from-husband-brian-after-15-years-together-11998982\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"null\">announced in a joint post on June 15<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, the two wrote: \u201cThis comes with enormous pain for both of us but also gratitude for the 15 years of shared history, love and friendship,\u201d their statement at the time read. \u201cWhat we are committed to is loving each other well through this transition and placing the wellbeing of the family we created at the center.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&#8230;We both want to be very clear. This wasn\u2019t about falling out of love,\u201d the message continued. \u201cThat\u2019s why this is so devastating. It was about recognizing that sometimes the most loving thing you can do is give someone space to figure out complex things. And that\u2019s exactly what we are doing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a <a class=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DbUmRivgse8\/\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"noopener\">video<\/a> shared on July 26, Jen accused Brian of leading a \u201cdouble life,\u201d alleging that he had been romantically involved with another woman.<\/p>\n<p>Jen shares two sons, Ellis and Luke, with Brian.
