A clip from the new Prime Video horror-thriller shared exclusively with PEOPLE shows the exact moment the characters realize that their Thailand vacation has become a survival mission.<\/p>\n<p>In the clip, the friends find themselves stranded on a rock in the titular cave, holding on for their lives as a shark circles in the water around them. James (played by 28-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/olivia-wilde-booksmart-four-year-anniversary-throwback-photos-7504250\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Booksmart<\/em><\/a> star Hiraga) is first to realize that the shark is a breed considered to be dangerous toward humans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBull shark. It has to be. They go after you and after you,\u201d he adds of the shark breed. \u201cIt\u2019s like it\u2019s stuck in this maze and it\u2019s territorial\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As James reveals just how severe the group\u2019s situation is, his girlfriend Max (Condor, 29) looks at the bull shark with a terrified expression, and Sara (Newton, also 29) clings tightly to a rocky pillar. Meanwhile, a blood-splattered Adrienne (Rose, 25) laughs hysterically, seemingly in shock.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s like a cartoon. While filming the Jeff Wadlow-directed nail-biter last year, Condor says she \u201cwould just run to the towels\u201d at the end of each day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was really intense. It was physically intense, emotionally intense. It was exhausting,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/movies\/to-all-the-boys-ive-loved-before-noah-centineo\/\" data-type=\"\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>To All The Boys I\u2019ve Loved Before<\/em><\/a> star tells PEOPLE of filming. \u201cYou\u2019re in the water 12 to 13 hours a day, swimming for your life in real life \u2014 not just in movie land. In between takes, you\u2019re still treading for your life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I will say is every day when I finished, I was so excited to see a towel.
