Search and rescue team members circumvented the gate by riding a dirt bike and were able to locate the injured man, officials said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After the crew opened the gate, they transported an emergency medical technician (EMT) from the responding ambulance to the patient via UTV.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The team members managed to stabilize the hiker&#8217;s leg and transport him to the trailhead, where the ambulance was waiting, officials said.
