Dax Shepard<\/a> has some thoughts on his wife’s latest role \u2014 as well as her kissing technique.<\/p>\n The Armchair Expert <\/em>podcaster spoke about Kristen Bell<\/a>‘s onscreen chemistry with Adam Brody<\/a> in the Netflix romance series Nobody Wants This<\/em><\/a> during the New Yorker Festival on Saturday, Oct. 26.<\/p>\n Shepard, 49, briefly touched upon his first podcast episode \u2014 which featured Bell, 44 \u2014 and working on Samsung commercials together, as he focused on how they play off one another.<\/p>\n When asked about their “incredible chemistry,” Shepard had an unexpected response. “Not as good as her and Brody,” he said of The O.C.<\/a> <\/em>alum, 44.<\/p>\n Jason Bollenbacher\/Getty\u00a0<\/p>\n Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell in March 2023.<\/p>\n \n\tRelated: Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s Relationship Timeline<\/a>\n<\/p>\n “My friend … we watched that scene together, the kissing scene, which I’d argue is the very best kissing scene ever, ever put on film,” Shepard continued of a smooch shared between his wife and Brody’s characters in the series.<\/p>\n “And my best friend, Aaron, from childhood, he goes, ‘Does she ever kiss you like that?’ No, I didn’t even know she could kiss like that,” he added.<\/p>\n According to Netflix’s synopsis<\/a>, Nobody Wants This<\/em><\/a> follows \u201can agnostic sex podcaster [Bell] and a newly single rabbi [Brody] [who] fall in love.” However, their romance begs the question \u2014 “can their relationship survive their wildly different lives and meddling families?”<\/p>\n Never miss a story \u2014 sign up for PEOPLE’s free daily newsletter<\/a> to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer\u200b\u200b, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n On Oct. 10, the show, which is loosely based on Erin Foster<\/a>‘s real-life love story, was renewed for season 2<\/a>.<\/p>\n Bell has previously spoken about her and Brody’s steamy scenes \u2014 and how Shepard enthusiastically responded.<\/p>\n \u201cEven I can acknowledge watching it, like, \u2018Whoa, that\u2019s hot,\u2019 \u201d Bell told E! News<\/a>. “My husband said the same thing.
